Wasserfallen Juraparadies Regional Association
The organization was founded in the spring of 2009 and has since counted a wide variety of municipalities from both Frenken valleys, Baselland Tourism, the Wasserfallen Foundation, and the Reigoldswil Cable Car among its members. The Region Wasserfallen Juraparadies Association pursues the following goals:
- He coordinates, facilitates networking, and represents the interests of the municipalities and service providers within the area.
- He helps preserve and further develop the unique landscape of the Northern Jura Arc as both a natural and cultural landscape.
- The association promotes and supports the expansion of tourism offerings, thereby making a valuable contribution to fostering a sense of connection to the Wasserfallen region.
2026 ANNUAL PROGRAM
Evening Walk Through the Wildenstein Oak Grove Near Bubendorf
- Date: Thursday, June 18, 2026, 6:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m.
- Meeting place: 6:00 p.m. at the “Bubendorf, Steingasse” bus stop (public transportation: AAGL Bus 70 or 71)
Rémy Suter will take you through fields and woods up to the plateau, where Ranger Alain Chambovey will introduce you to the secrets of the Wildenstein oak grove (followed by a light aperitif).
During the guided hike from Bubendorf to Wildenstein, you’ll hear anecdotes, stories, and interesting facts along the way in the oak grove.
Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy shoes.

Guided evening walk from Oberdorf to the “Dielenberg” vineyard
- Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026, 6:00 p.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m.
- Meeting place: 6:00 p.m. at the “Oberdorf Station” WB bus stop
Cultural historians Hanspeter Gautschin and Rémy Suter will take you on an enjoyable stroll filled with anecdotes about the village’s colorful characters of yesteryear (followed by an aperitif and a talk at the Dielenberg Winegrowers’ Association in the Rebhaus).
Learn more about the houses and their residents, and hear anecdotes about “Reinharde Selmi” and “Badhanse Karli.”
