Snowshoeing—an ancient sport that’s all the rage! Snow-covered landscapes, peace and quiet—an impressive nature experience at the Wasserfalle.
With snowshoes, you can explore the area from the Wasserfalle toward Passwang. Simply experience the snow-covered landscape off the beaten path.
Information
Tickets for snowshoe rentals (including poles) are available at the ticket office at the mountain station. As a deposit, we require a valid form of identification, which will be returned to you when you return the equipment.
The marked snowshoe trail leads directly from the mountain station to the Vogelberg (Vogelberg Mountain Restaurant) and back again.

For a fun snowshoe outing, we recommend weatherproof and warm clothing, waterproof hiking boots, a hat, and gloves.
Guided Snowshoe Hike
For groups, we offer customized guided snowshoe hikes. You’ll meet your guide at the mountain station, who will then lead you through the glistening winter landscape of the Wasserfallen region. At one of the mountain restaurants, you’ll enjoy a delicious fondue or a dinner of your choice. Once you’ve refueled, you’ll head back to the mountain station, from where you can sled or take the gondola down to the valley.
Clothing
Weatherproof and warm clothing, waterproof hiking boots, a hat, and gloves.
Hike: Two sections, each lasting up to 1 1/2 hours; elevation gain of 300 meters. Difficulty: Some physical fitness required. Minimum age: 12 years. The tour is subject to snow and weather conditions.
