About 65 people are behind the short gondola ride up the Wasserfallen
A gondola seems to run all on its own. In reality, on any given day of operation, a good dozen people are involved in running it: at the ticket office, at the stations, in the parking lot, in the workshop, at the scooter rental, and in the kitchen of our Hintere Wasserfallen mountain restaurant.
Our team is a diverse mix of full-time employees, apprentices, and numerous hourly workers. Many of them live in the immediate vicinity of the gondola and have strong ties to the Wasserfallen region. They are deeply passionate, motivated, and committed to our Gondeli, and they give their all every day to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience.
There’s a simple reason why so many people are paid by the hour: Our business depends on the weather. On a sunny Sunday in August, we need many times as many people as on a foggy Tuesday in February.
