The ViaSurprise is a circular hiking trail divided into six day-long stages in the Solothurn and Basel-Landschaft Jura regions and corresponds to Regional Route No. 32 of SchweizMobil. Following well-marked trails, it leads through quiet forests, over scenic Jura ridges, and past castles, monasteries, and charming villages—always near easily accessible towns that serve as starting or ending points. Thanks to its flexible, combinable stages, the ViaSurprise is ideal for individually planned multi-day hikes and invites you to discover the region’s diversity step by step.
